The NCORD meeting (23rd May & 11th July) at district level used to be held every 3 months but now it is being held monthly. The vision of the meeting is ‘Nesha Mukta Bharat’. The district level NCORD meeting is held in the conference hall of Superintendent of Police, Baruipur Police District, 4th Floor, Jela Parishad Building, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas. Our organization is requested for presence for the success of the program. Our general secretary of the organization Shri Biswajit Debnath spoke in the meeting in presence of police and administration.

Frequent meeting (7th April 2025) about Hepatitis B and C is held in the office of Chief Medical Officer of Health, South 24 Parganas. Few pictures of the meeting are given below.

World Hepatitis Day was celebrated on 28 July 2025, under the WHO theme for 2025: “Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down”, which emphasizes dismantling financial, social and systemic barriers to hepatitis elimination via vaccination, testing, treatment, and stigma reduction.

To increase the awareness about Hepatitis A, B, C, D, E we organized a camp to benefit the high risk population at the organization premise on 24th July 2025. We distributed brochures among the participants. Activities included guest talks, free screening for hepatitis B & C, blood pressure checks and distribution of educational materials. The attendees included Doctors, Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist and other professionals. The event was attended by 35 people.
We, Sonarpur Moonlight Foundation organized a seminar on the event of World Hepatitis Day, 28th July 2025 at Baruipur Central Correctional Home. The purpose of the seminar was to increase awareness about Hepatitis B, C among the inmates of the correctional home. The authorities of the correctional home were present in the event. The attendees also included doctors and other professionals (Social worker, GNM Nurse, Therapist, Peer Educator). We explained the whole thing about hepatitis from screening to treatment by powerpoint presentation. We made them aware about the free screening and treatment facilities available by the government. The guest speeches were given by our Dr. Dhiman Mondal and Clinical Psychologist Sanchari Debnath. The powerpoint presentation were given by Mr. Kingshuk Saha, Mr. Aritro Ghosh and Mr. Jeeten Das. The event was attended by around 250 inmates. Many of them were infected by Hepatitis B & C. For security reasons we are not giving any photos of the inmates.
We are very much regretting that we could send only two participants from our organization in the central rally organized by Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of West Bengal for the World Hepatitis Day as the event at Baruipur Central Correctional Home continued till 2:30 pm.
We attended the meeting held at CMOH office regarding NVHCP on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day on 29th July 2025.
