Understanding Mental Health: Breaking the Stigma
Mental illness affects millions of people in India. It's time we talk openly about it and remove the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.
Mental illness is often ignored when it comes to diagnosing a person's problems. According to WHO, one in every 8 people suffers from mental illness in India. Beginning with autism and cognitive impairment in childhood, depression, anxiety, substance misuse, and psychosis in maturity, and ending with dementia in old age.
We are committed to eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness through education, training, and providing access to cost-effective, high-quality care. Mental health and well-being are universal human rights.
